Trojan Horse

A Trojan Horse is the covert placement of instructions inside a valid program or replacement of a valid program with a 'doctored' one, that causes the computer to perform unauthorised functions but usually still allow the program to perform its intended purpose. This is probably the most common method used in computer-based frauds and sabotage.
