Privy Council

The main judicial function of the Privy Council is to hear appeals from the decisions of the courts of Commonwealth countries. Its decisions are not binding on other English Courts.

However it is comprised of judges of high authority such as the Law Lords and therefore its decisions tend to be of a very persuasive nature.
